Ah Trini Ting Part II
Look at de many
words dat we Trinis create, just to make it easier for us to communicate. Words like bobbol,
skylark, commess and bobolee, are words dat yuh cah find
in any English Dictionary. Coskel, boobooloops, lahay and dingolay, Mou
Mou, bazodie, jagabat and tootoolbay. So when yuh thin and
frail, we say yuh maga or merasme. And when yuh fat or overweight, we
say yuh obzokee. And when something small, we say chinkey instead. We say tabanca
when a woman tie up a man head. A person who lazy, we call dem a locho. And an inquisitive
person is simply a maco. Is our colourful history, yes our glorious past, dat give
us a language dat very few could surpass, so many Trinis doh speak patois again. But
we use words like doux doux and langniappe all de same. And mauvais langue
is when yuh bad talk people yuh doh even know, more to come...

Trinidadians
are a special people of dat there is no doubt, Doh care what odders say of how dey run dey mouth. But of all de special talents
dat we Trinis possess, Is de way we talk dat ranks us among de best. At de street corners, in de shop or at work on any given
day, Is to hear us speak and carry on in our own special way. De colourful words, de antics and de accent all combine, To
create a whole language dat has stood de test of time. De way we express ourselves and de way we converse, is truly an art
of which every Trini can boast.

Soca Warriors Update and more Trini bacchanal...
Well yuh know Trinidadians. Deh car help de self, any time we do someting good it mus always have some commess waiting
in de wings to counteract the favorable. So it go! The action with Jack Warner and the Simpaul's travel packages is still
unfolding and FIFA has decided to distance themselves - smart move! Meanwhile yuh know de do low key investigations. I am
sure noting will be made of it before the World Cup in June.
De nex story is the Ticket allocation to the TTFF for Trinbagonians to see we Soca Warriors in de most important world
competition in our countries history. People I doh have to tell yuh that this is a chance of a lifetime and it looking like
it go be real hard to see de Soca Warriors live and in action in Germany dis year. I wish everyone aiming to go de very best
of luck!!!

Friday de 13th but not for We Trinbagonians
Trinis is bless people doh mine deh cry we down and say how we corrupt and we cah get we act together. People fraid to
visit and deh does dat in Trini running from de crime. De Lord still shine on we, because we is de smallest nation to reach
de World Cup in Germany 2006. So somebody watching over us, we jus have to believe it and say thanks and give praise. Carnival
right round de corner and everybody gears in up, still de sweetest Carnival in de world doh mind what other say bout
Brazil Carnival.

ting. Trinis worried like hell dat deh eh go be able to afford de trip to Germany because Jack Warner killin people with that
