Well I have
to say my part; I just cannot ignore all of the reports and rumors that going back and forth on the Radio and Internet today. I had to do my own investigation and have compiled and compressed the details here.
Mr. Machel Montano HD and his entourage (Benjai, Shall Marshal, Kernel Roberts members of de HD crew) had to be having an outta
body experience in the wee hours of Thursday morning outside of Club Zen in Trini.
The report
is that 24-year-old Russell Pollonaise is suffering from a fractured skull and is in the Port of Spain GeneralHospital with a broken nose after he was allegedly beaten by
members of the HD crew outside the club. Now dat is madness, because Machel has been accused too many times of wrong doing and all around him seem to clear him each and every time either fearing their livelihood or own well being,
something is going to stick. If this story is true, there is no time like de present I say.
The story so far
is that some Brits was partying it up in Zen (which has been closed indefinitely due to failure to produce a health certificate) when one of them spilled a drink on a female who was liming with the HD crew and dancing with Machel when Machel walked
up to the Pollonaise and slapped him in the face, look like he wake up de real “Jumbie” in Machel. Club Zen bouncers ordered
the Brits out. Apparently the HD crew followed Pollonaise out and attacked him by throwing him against the fender of a car
and hen to the ground, beating him. Well look trouble, all de media want to say is that it is a Soca Star, give Jack
he jacket nah!
Machel's mother, Elizabeth Montano says that her son is traumatized. Please de only thing Machel is traumatized by is wondering what the concequences will be when the real
story come out if it ever come out. Machel is thinking of migrating to another country, that he will not do because he would
have been in jail already if it were another country he smarter dan dat.
In true Trini style
the police was present to question patrons but of course dey question any and everybody but Machel, ah wonder why? If they
discover is Machel to blame and throw him in jail I wonder if he will be begging for “One More Wine”. What a way to celebrate
25 years in the business marred by dangerous accusations. We will see if this investigation will get anywhere of if it will
be swept under another rug. I say Jumbie all ah dem, Rah!
Brian Charles Lara the undisputed Prince of Port of Spain was greeted by a long lineup
of English cricketers and spectators who clapped him onto the pitch today in Kensington Oval, Barbados. Fans waved their
flags and signs signaling the end of Brian's International Cricket career.
Chris Gayle and Devon Smith opened the innings in spectular
batting fashion, Brian moved up the order to bat in 3rd position to solidify the innings at near 140 for 1.
Brian batted much to the fans content with a few runs
and then sadly run out for 18 runs. The crowd nonetheless stood to applaud a great career and Brian acknowledged
the crowd running into the dressing room full of emotion no doubt.
Cricket fans world wide are pleased to have witnessed a great
batsman and cricketer in Brian Charles Lara. Trinidadians world wide are proud that Trinidad has produced such a spectacular cricketer.
It would be interesting to note what is next for Brian Charles
Lara, no doubt his fans will all be watching. Some speculate that he will move on to other ventures unrelated to cricket but
that remains to be seen.
Ah didn't want to say anything about this to dignify it with
any more commentary but Trini women have just been degraded World Wide.
If you have not heard yet Akon performed in Club Zen, Trinidad West Indies last Thursday April 12th and proceeded to
dry hump a young girl who is alleged to be a Pastor's daughter. The rumor is that she is only 14/15 and she was the winner
of a wining competition agaist 7 other ladies. The grand prize was suppposed to be a trip to Africa for a wine-off with
the African winers but the prize turned out to be African singing sensation Akon right in Zen.
Dis young girl eh know what she was getting herself into when
she went up on stage to show people how she could wine. Admittidely Akon took total advantage of the situation and made a
spectacle of the young girl but maybe next time she will think twice about entering any wining competitions. Coverage of this
madness in Zen has gone global, with mentions on VH1 and videos on YouTube.

by the Universal Music Group due to copyright infrigement. Copyright my tail, if Akon was portrayed in a good light and
not taking advantage of a lady on stage they would have loved it to be plastered all of YouTube but he messed up so pull if
for copyright infrindgement. Ah Love It!
Trinidadian model & makeup artist Shenelle Scott has
seen her private life become the center of a brewing controversy in recent weeks, thanks to a story on the internet concerning
her past romantic involvement with Jay-Z, and a rumor of a son that allegedly came about as a result of their relationship.
Ah wonder if this is true? Wonder what this means to Jay's relationship
with R&B Goddess girlfriend Beyonce. Some think she's known about the child, but since the news has gone public, it could
be the reason for all those breakup whispers that have plagued her and Jay. Could this spell the end of hip hop's royal couple?
Apparently de chile living in Trini and does see he father 4
to 5 times a year. If Jay-Z is de father he better acknowledge the chile fas because it would be sad if he fused to. Jay,
do like Anna-Nicole baby Daddy and get a paternity test nah and leh we know!
Well so far no Trini students have been directly affected by the shootings at Virginia Tech University. It was reported by
the Trinidad Express that there are about 10 Trinidadians
attending Virginia Tech and all are alive and well.
We have so much to be thankful for as Trinis, as many have
said in the past "God is a Trini" and dat eh now joke!
