Soca Tribute for Richard Thompson

The Original DeFosto has written a song in tribute to TnT's silver medalist Richard "Thorpedo" Thompson.
DeFosto said the song, titled "We Silver Hero" was written in just a few minutes, following Thompson's second place finish in the Men's 100 meters final at
the Beijing Olympics. DeFosto said he was overjoyed with
Thompson's accomplishment and had to pay tribute to the youngster. He said he also has plans to record a track about the other TnT athletes that did this country proud.
In the meantime, Jamaican artist D'Angel has hit the studios and recorded
a catchy tribute for her countrymen. The track, titled ‘Good
Fi Dem', is an up-tempo single with an infectious beat, and catchy lines, and D'Angel says that she was really inspired
to do the song not only after Usain Bolt smashed the 200-metre world and Olympic records, but also after Jamaica's female
athletes made history in Beijing.
